How it started

Our founder, Matthew Turner lives with severe hearing loss. A lifetime of communication difficulties and poor generalised amplification solutions created the need for something matched to individual needs.

The initial speech test and digital signal processing algorithms were developed by Professor Brian Moore and Dr. Michael Stone of Cambridge University to create a hearing profile for people in any comfortable environment in three minutes that could then be processed real time. This software platform, its adaptations and spin-offs form the basis of our audio technology offering on a global basis.
